About an hour north of Atlanta is Ellijay. One evening Joe and I had some friends over for dinner and one of the women was from Ellijay. She kept us in stiches about her relatives that made moonshine. So I had to see it. It is a very small town that has retained its historical buildings. The town square seems to be only antique stores. We stopped at the Corner Store Cafe and had lunch. The best BLT sandwich for under $5. A great bargain.

Come back up soon - the square will soon feature a new restaurant with outside dining - and be sure to check out Corks & Crumbs on the Square - yummy food and wine!
