SUMMERFEST
Through July 6: Boasting it is the world's largest music festival, this blowout on the Milwaukee lakefront features a carnival atmosphere with multiple stages, rides and, of course, the dining triumvirate of beer, cheese and brats. NEWPORT FOLK FESTIVAL
Aug. 1-3: Here's the Rhode Island festival where Bob Dylan got famously booed and the folk revival of the early 1960s took root.
