Pesaro has some unique features. Its position, at the northernmost point of the Marches region, the first promontory plunging directly into the Adriatic sea. The natural oasis of the San Bartolo park. The closeness of the town centre to the beach, making town life easy whether one travels on foot or by bicycle. The town’s important historic and artistic heritage: libraries, museums, theatres, churches and noble villas, but also new cultural centres like the Centro Arti Visive Pescheria and the San Giovanni multi-medial library.
