Kefalonia Greece - Assos Beach

Assos beach is on the west of the Island 36 km from Argostoli, the Islands capital. The beach is in a bay, which is overlooked by two pleasant tavernas. The beach is a lovely pebbly beach that offers great views of the picturesque town of Assos. This town is definitely worth seeing as is dominated by ruins of a 16th Century Venetian Castle. The whole area is surrounded by luscious green scenery.
